Here is my Laserdisc list. I still collect them, mainly via E-Bay, because I love laserdisc. Laserdisc format didn't die! It was killed to make way for DVD. I've been a laserdisc owner since 1991. If I had a better job back then, and more money, my collection would have been MUCH larger.

There are so many discs I passed up purchasing because of lack of cash. Most discs are dirt cheap now. However, some rare pressings and box sets have only gotten more expensive. A good example of this is The Frighteners 8-Sided Box Set, which included full running commentary by director Peter Jackson, "The Making of The Frighteners", an original 4½-hour documentary on the making of the movie, featuring interviews with Michael J. Fox, Trini Alvarado, Dee Wallace-Stone, Jake Busey, Jim Fyfe and Chi McBride, including rehearsing, storyboarding, miniatures and extensive exploration of the special effects, motion control and blue screens, plus deleted scenes, bloopers and theatrical trailer. It also had 5.1 Surround, as well as Dolby Prologic Surround.  This disc originally went for about $50. It now goes for around $150-200, if you can find it. Some Criterion releases go for $200+. Man, to have purchased them when they were about $50!

Also, my collection includes a few crap movies. These are discs I got for free, or were part of a purchased set from an individual. Of course, I'm sure a few of the movies I like you might consider crap, and the ones I call crap may be someone's favorite.
